The product of the Philadelphia translocation, the BCR/ABL oncogene P210 isoform, is typically found in chronic myelogenous leukemia, and in acute lymphoid and myeloid leukemia, causing the cells to divide uncontrollably and inducing severe outcomes among patients.

BCR-ABL P210 ELITe MGB® Kit is a real-time PCR assay for the quantification of the mRNA of the BCR-ABL rearrangement, t(9;22) translocation of the Philadelphia chromosome, isoform P210 compared to the mRNA of the gene coding the kinase protein Abelson (ABL) mRNA. The assay has been tested on a large range of sample types with conventional extraction and PCR systems.
